dslr sensor cleaning
H. Lehmann offer all photographers our "while-u-wait" service. It is difficult to predict how long any given sensor will take to clean, therefore you will be given a 2 hour time slot.

Appointments can be made by either calling us on (01782) 413611, or by email to:- service-enquiry@hlehmann.co.uk

When you arrive for your sensor clean please ensure that your camera body has either a manufacturer supplied body cap attached or a suitable lens. This prevents any dust reaching the sensor, after it leaves our technicians work station.

Our pricing structure for this process is as follows:
APS-C sensors (Canon EOS 500D, Nikon D7000) £40 (inc. VAT)

APS-H & 35mm Sensors (Canon EOS 1Dx, EOS 5D) £65 (inc. VAT)
Our prices include the sensor clean, and also a clean of the cameras viewfinder and replace the focus screen if required.

If you do wish to POST your equipment to us, there will be a return postal charge (normally £5 inc.vat for return by Royal Mail Special Delivery).
We offer a "Same day" service for AF Optimisation. Usually a 2-4 hour time slot is required for these adjustments and therefore we ask that any customer wishing to use this service books an appointment, to avoid a wasted journey.
All AF optimisation work is subject to assessment on arrival at our facility. Once your equipment has been assessed by one of our fully trained technicians, they will call you with the details of work required and timescale for completion (Usually within 2-4 hours).

Many of the modern D-SLR camera’s suffer from a phenomenon known as front focussing.
Front focussing commonly occurs when using a wide aperture lens at f2.8 for example.

Front focussing can often spoil a whole days shooting, and at H. Lehmann we understand how frustrating this can be. We offer a quick turnaround service for this issue for both bodies and lenses, and we recommend having your bodies and lenses "matched" for the greatest accuracy and consistency.

At H. Lehmann we use the latest calibration test equipment to ensure your equipment is calibrated to the very highest standards.

Using our high precision projector, we can also make precise alignment and centering adjustments to your lenses.
